At Dreamland Homes, we understand that buying a home can be a great experience, but also stressful. Our helpful staff will assist you through every step and answer any questions you may have to ensure your new home purchase is a great and joyful experience.

How quickly can my home be built?
On average, and depending on the type of community we are building, we require approximately 120 days to build a home; however weather, supplies, and other uncontrollable variables can extend the build period.

How customizable is the model we choose?
Custom homes are our specialty. Our helpful staff will work with you to customize your home to be one of kind and still ensure building codes are strictly met.


5.

When can we make our colour selections?
Colour and tile selections need to be made no later than 30 days after initial sale is completed. This will ensure availability and faster build time.


6.

How much of a down payment does Dreamland require?
Through Tarion (Ontario New Home Warranty Program), new home buyers are protected against lossof deposits up to $40,000 should the sale of their home not be completed through no fault of your own.

Deposits vary from site to site. Ask your Dreamland Homes representative for details.

*Please note larger estate homes may require a greater down payment.


7.

Can our lawyer make changes to the agreement?
Your lawyer is free to suggest any changes; however any changes must be approved by our legal department.


8.

Can we walk through the house during the construction?
Due to Workman’s Safety Regulations and insurance purposes, a home owner is not permitted on the premises until the home has had its final inspection.
